Aries 10 – 16 August 2026

Aries constellation with stars Hamal, Sheratan, Mesarthim, and planets Jupiter and Mars labeled

For Aries, this eclipse week is particularly potent because Saturn and Neptune are both in Aries, bringing the great collision between reality and vision directly into your own sign. Saturn retrograde asks you to reconsider what you are building, what responsibility is genuinely yours and which ambitions have outlived their purpose; Neptune, also retrograde, dissolves the certainty around identity, direction and future plans. The 20° Leo solar eclipse then forms a fire-sign trine to Aries, bringing a much-needed surge of creative life-force: something that has been dormant can begin to reveal itself, but not necessarily in the form you expected. This is less about pushing forward than discovering which version of yourself can survive the transition. With Mars entering Cancer and the wider retrograde field slowing everything down, Aries may feel unusually frustrated by the apparent lack of movement — but the stillness is productive. You are being asked to let the old Aries impulse to act first and work it out later give way to a more mature form of courage: know what you are fighting for before you light the fire.
